Edition Size: Five identical prints
Print Size: 11x15"
Students will use photo-emulsion and positive transparencies to create original screenprints from drawn and photographic sources. This is exclusively a technical assignment, so any formal or conceptual content is acceptable. The finished edition must include all of the following:
At least one photographic element
At least one drawn element
Clean borders, even ink films, etc.
At least five layers of ink
At least one layer of semi-transparent ink that overlaps at least two other layers
Consistent registration
A clean screen when the print is completed
Prints must be signed correctly.
Screens will be inspected upon completion of the project. If your screen is dirty or damaged, you will not get credit for completing this project.
