Monoprint

The word "Monoprint" simply means a print that is not editionable. We will explore a variety of techniques for monoprinting, including the following:

Stencils
Transfers
Xerox roll-up
Positive and negative ink applications
Viscosity Rolls
Collage

All of these techniques will be demonstrated in class. Each student will make 5-10 different monoprints. You will turn all of these in with your print portfolio, but you will only photograph the best one.
