Promotional Package

Start by reviewing LOTS OF promotional booklets, etc. on the web. Use the special magic powers of Google.

You have a lot of options in terms of size, materials, etc., but you are probably better off using a size and format that are easy to mail. Think about these ideas:

Make your book, pamphlet or pages in a common envelope size.

Make it big enough that you can fit a CD in it.

Think about how you will include a letter of application on Letter-sized paper.

Think about how you include your business card.

Think about how long it takes to make a new booklet, insert, whatever.

Think about how hard it will be to update, or specialize for a particular job. Can it be made as a "modular" package, so you can insert different pages for different opportunities?

Make sure you include ALL the relevant information, including the following:

Your name, contact info (phone, address, email, website).

Your logo

Your professionally designed resume/cv, listing relevant skills, education, experience and references

A letter of application, specifically addressed to the opportunity to which you are applying, signed.

Printed examples of your work

Your business card

(optional) a CD of your work

What you need to do:

You need to actually MAKE this thing, and then photograph it.

What you need to turn in:

Submit the real thing, in an envelope, addressed for a particular job, at the end of the semester for your interview.

Submit the photograph of it as "Promotional_astudent.jpg"
