Unit Four-Professional Development
Lesson 4.02 Digital Portfolio
Digital Portfolio
Each student is required to create a digital portfolio which will include representative images from your semester's work. Here are all of the images required, and the correct naming conventions.
photo_comp_astudent.jpg Pick your two best photo restoration or combination images.
AH_astudent.jpg This is the image of your finished art history project.
AH_astudent.doc This is the word document that includes your finished project, the original, your sketches, and your artist statement.
self_astudent.jpg This is your finished Allegorical Self Portrait
shoe_astudent.jpg This is your finished shoe project, with all four compositions combined.
pun_astudent.jpg This is your visual pun
room_astudent.jpg This is your room.
gif_astudent.gif This is your animated gif
drawings_astudent.jpg This is the side-by-side combination of your two digital drawings.
mat_astudent.jpg This is the photograph of your matted print-cropped and adjusted of course.
play_astudent01.jpg-play_astudent11.jpg Pick your three favorite images from all the pieces you made while playing (there should be a total of 11). Keep the original numbers, as they will serve as an indication of when the best work was done.
regrade.txt If you have reworked any projects and would like to have them re-assessed, include in your final folder, a text file named "regrade.txt" to let the instructor know what needs to be graded again. You will receive as the final grade for the project the average between the original project and the final revision. Example: you got a grade of 6/10 on the original project, and a grade of 9/10 on your regraded project. Your grade for that project would be a 7.5/10.
What you need to do:
Complete the day's Play or Tute.
Put all of the above files in your "final" folder, and make sure there aren't any other files in there.
Make certain all the files are perfect. Look at the guidelines above to insure they are named correctly, and check the requirements on this page as well.
What you need to turn in:
Today's Play or Tute project.
Your final folder, with all the files included.
What I will be grading:
You get credit for turning in your Play or Tute project.
You get credit for completing your tutorial and turning in the form.
Your digital portfolio will be graded for correct format, all files included, etc.
Any project that has been improved since its original grade will be regraded.
Here is the complete grading sheet.
This is the last lesson in the course. Any remaining time can be spent completing or improving projects, or doing extra credit work. See instructor for details. If the majority of the students are finished early, one or more assignments will be added to the list of required work.
