Similar in theme to One True Thing, but much less dark. The image started out being just the black and white image, but the strange shape fo the figures and the pillows reminded me of a coastline. The boat represents the father, who is dependent on, but somewhat peripheral to the mother and infant.
Technically, this is a peninsula, but "The Island" is a better title.
